The 99% who have been apathetic participants in democracy, and continue to be apathetic participants, are largely to blame for the current economic woes on their doorsteps and stoops.
All the people out there who continued to vote in 'representatives' whose mandates were always fcked from the start, and yet you voted them in, because at the time you were riding the greed wave, unprepared for the recession period that happens every few decades, well, do ya like the result of such lazy, default voting? Tappin' your Nikes to the 'Bring It On', 'You're With Us Or You're Against Us' and the 'Amazing Grace' beat.
It was the ignorance of the 99%, those who fed off tinned terror, those who left slobber on their TV screens as they gobbled up mainstream media news without thinking to look deeper, it is those people in the 99%, who have destroyed democracy, by sitting on their fat soft drink sated asses for the past two decades.
If you had been more involved with what your representatives really stood for, if you had looked deeper at why terrorism suddenly appeared on a shelf at your local grocery store, then maybe you would have taken a 3rd party route, instead of continuously voting by default for the same bastards who have been in cohorts with the New World Order for years now, knowing that they could get away with murder, even of their own people - Inside Leg and all that jazz - because the population has become so dumbed down.
So quit the whinging about how the 1% destroyed democracy.
You are just as guilty for the state your garden is in, that is for sure.
